Stephen Glenn Martin (born August 14, 1945) is an American comedian, actor, writer, producer, and musician. Known for his work in comedy films, television, and recording, he has received many accolades, including five Grammy Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award and an Honorary Academy Award, [1] in addition to nominations for two Tony Awards.
Martin has also hosted the Academy Awards in 2001, 2003 and in 2010 alongside Alec Baldwin. He has guest starred on 30 Rock (2008) earning a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series nomination. Since 2021 he has starred in the Hulu mystery-comedy series Only Murders in the Building alongside Martin Short and Selena Gomez.
