Corvallis High School (CHS) is a four-year public secondary school in Corvallis, Oregon. Originally established in 1910, the high school sat between the downtown area of Corvallis and Oregon State University. In 1935, a new school was built on what was then considered the far northern edge of the town on approximately 25 acres.
The rankings aim to provide a measure of the extent to which colleges provide upward economic mobility to those that attend. The rankings were created in response to the finding in Science magazine which showed that among developed nations, the United States now provides the least economic opportunity and mobility for its citizens.
The MHSA divides schools based upon their total enrollment for all activities. As of 2023, the enrollment criteria for each class is: 801 and up for Class AA, 301-800 for Class A, 101-300 for Class B and 1-100 for Class C.
