C. J. Lewis (born Steven James Lewis, [1] 1 February 1967) [2] is a British reggae singer. His biggest hit single was the 1994 cover version of " Sweets for My Sweet ". The track was produced by Phillip Leo , as was his debut album, Dollars ( UK No. 44). [ 1 ]
In 1962 Moore created an edition of 10 working models (LH 504) for a new two-piece sculpture. The Tate Gallery in London acquired a small working model in 1963. [3] Other working models are in the collections of the Gemeentemuseum in The Hague, the Didrichsen Art Museum in Helsinki, the Memorial Art Gallery of the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York, and the Kunsthaus in Zurich.
This exhibit was a critical and media success as reported in Time [3] and Newsweek, [4] presenting the public with a show dedicated to a "New Art". Critical labels for the art included "ABC art," "reductive art" and "Minimalism," [5] though these labels were all roundly rejected by the artists themselves, notably Donald Judd.
Smooth is the third studio album by American singer and rapper Smooth. It was released on August 1, 1995, via TNT Recordings and Jive Records . The album was produced by Chris Stokes , Larry "Rock" Campbell, K. Fingers, D-Flow Production Squad, and James Strong, with Atron Gregory serving as executive producer.
In contrast, BusinessWorld called it a "wonderful, delightful album" and praised it for mixing mainstream pop jazz with more adventurous sounds. [3] The Record (New Jersey) called it "timeless music played with reverence and charm"; they also noted that all the guitarists on the record were far more skilled than George Harrison .
In a two-page article on the history of C. Jeré for the November 2010 issue of Elle Decor, Mitchell Owens wrote that, after launching in 1964, C. Jeré sculptures were "distributed by Raymor, a cutting edge studio in New York City, and retailed at Gump's in San Francisco and other high quality emporiums…Under Freiler's meticulous direction ...
