The Isuzu 6H is a family of inline six-cylinder diesel engines installed in Isuzu medium-duty trucks, and also installed in GM medium-duty trucks as the Duramax LG4. It is mated to the Allison 2500, 3000, and 3500 series transmissions.
In 1983 the business was acquired by Rogers & Son by which time it was concentrating on bodying Isuzu and Hino chassis. In 1998 it was renamed Rogers and moved to Wacol . [ 3 ] The bus division closed in May 2000, but the business continued to perform other work.

The DMAX V6 engine is a 3.0 L; 180.5 cu in (2,958 cc) diesel engine. It was designed, and is produced by Isuzu in Fujisawa, Kanagawa, Japan but the design rights to the engine are now owned by General Motors. It uses high-pressure common rail direct injection with four valve per cylinder, cylinder heads.
The Land Rover Perenties were produced in 4x4 and 6x6 variants and powered by an Isuzu 3.9-litre four-cylinder 4BD1 diesel engine or 4BD1-T turbo (see List of Isuzu engines). They have proven themselves both in Australia and on operations overseas, including in Somalia, Timor Leste, the Solomon Islands, Iraq and Afghanistan. [2]
