Northwest Mississippi Community College is a public community college in Senatobia, Mississippi. It was founded in 1928. As of 2024, Northwest's enrollment is approximately 6,800 students. There are approximately 2,000 students on the Senatobia campus—1,300 of which reside in the college's residence halls.
The Senatobia High School Warriors football team was state champion in 2004. The football team plays at Varner Field. From 2016 until 2022, Brooks Oakley coached the football team, [13] and is an alumnus. [14] Oakley left for South Panola High School and was followed by Carter Norris, another Senatobia alum.
