Southland Mall, originally known as Cutler Ridge Mall, is a shopping mall in Cutler Bay (formerly Cutler Ridge), Florida.It opened in 1978 [3] as an extension of the Cutler Ridge Shopping Center, which itself was opened in 1960 (shortly after its "grand reopening", Cutler Ridge Mall moniker was subsequently applied to the entire shopping center complex).
The Hollywood Fashion Mall was replaced by a discount mall and then a flea market. There is now a Walmart on the site. The Cutler Ridge Mall was all but destroyed by Hurricane Andrew in 1992.

Long Ridge Mall, began with the opening of McCurdy's on Oct 2, 1969. A newspaper article says that the rest of the mall would start before the end of the year. The official opening of Long Ridge Plaza was on Sept. 15, 1971. [2] [3] Early advertising called the mall Long Ridge Plaza but by March 1972 advertising used the name Long Ridge Mall.
