Hong Kong Park is a public park next to Cotton Tree Drive in Central, Hong Kong. Built at a cost of HK$ 398 million and opened on 23 May 1991, it covers an area of 80,000 square metres (860,000 sq ft) and is an example of modern design and facilities blending with natural landscape.

Flagstaff House, built in 1846, is the oldest example of Western-style architecture remaining in Hong Kong. [1] It is located at 10 Cotton Tree Drive, Central – within the Hong Kong Park. [2] It has been a longtime residence of the Commander of the British forces in Hong Kong during colonial times.
Hamilton Block was returned from the British Forces to the Hong Kong Government in 1967. [2] Kitchener Block was used as accommodation for school teachers. [2] Named for Herbert Kitchener, 1st Earl Kitchener, British Secretary of State for War; The Squash Courts building in the Barracks was the first such building built in Hong Kong. [14]
