Captain Atlas (Att-Lass) is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Mark Gruenwald and artist Mike Manley, the character first appeared in Quasar #9 (April 1990). [1] Captain Atlas was introduced as the partner of Doctor Minerva. He became later a member of the Kree superteam Starforce.

Captain America appeared during the next year in Young Men #24–28 and Men's Adventures #27–28, as well as in issues #76–78 of an eponymous title (May–September 1954). Atlas' attempted superhero revival was a commercial failure, [18] and the character's title was canceled with Captain America #78 (September 1954).
