Ramayya Vasthavayya (transl. Rama, you will come) is a 2013 Indian Telugu-language action drama film [2] written and directed by Harish Shankar.It was produced by Dil Raju and stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Shruti Haasan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
S. Thaman composed the music for this film which marks his Third collaboration with Jr NTR and second collaboration with Harish Shankar. The film stars debutant Girish Kumar alongside Shruti Haasan in lead roles. It is a remake of the director's own Telugu film Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana.
The title of one of the songs in the movie is "Ramaiya Vastavaiya" is in Telugu, which means "Ramaiya, come quickly". Apart from that, the rest of the song's lyrics (and the film) are in Hindi. [4] At the beginning of the movie, the main protagonist explains to a policeman that one needs to stand on one's head to make sense of this world.
The third song in the album "Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya", performed by Anirudh, Vishal Dadlani, Shilpa Rao had the reference to the song "Ramaiya Vastavaiya" from the film Shree 420 (1955). Prabhu Deva was born on 3 April 1973 in Mysore, Mysore State (present-day Karnataka state) to Mugur Sundar and Mahadevamma Sundar. Inspired by his father Mugur Sundar, a choreographer for South Indian movies, he took up dancing, learning Indian classical dance forms such as Bharatanatyam from Dharmaraj and Udupi Lakshminarayanan.
