Kentucky Route 1247 (KY 1247) is a 41.340-mile-long (66.530 km) secondary state highway in southeast-central Kentucky. It traverses Pulaski and Lincoln counties. The highway was formerly signed as U.S. Route 27 (US 27).
Taylorsville was founded in 1799 on the land of Richard Taylor, father of US President Zachary Taylor. Roughly 60 acres (240,000 m 2) of land was taken by the Shelby County Court on Taylor's motion, and soon the town was named after Taylor himself. In 1814 the town of Taylorsville was admitted to record by the Shelby County Court. [4]

Kentucky Route 155 (KY 155) is a 20.788-mile-long (33.455 km) state highway in the U.S. state of Kentucky. The route originates at a junction with U.S. Route 31E and US 150 (Bardstown Road) in Louisville, Kentucky. On the other side of intersection, KY 155 becomes a local road called Trevilian Way.
