Farm to Market Road 3000 (FM 3000) is located in Bastrop County. [1] It begins in Elgin, at an intersection with Loop 109. [2] It runs east approximately 3.6 miles (5.8 km) before state maintenance ends. The roadway continues as Old Lexington Road, which, along with Willow Road and CR 1202, provides access to FM 696 at the Lee County line. [1] [3]
Farm to Market Road 450 (FM 450) is a 30.6-mile-long (49.2 km) route that runs through Harrison, Marion, and Upshur counties in northeastern Texas. It begins in western Harrison County at the intersection of FM 968 and FM 2625 (the latter also ends here) and travels north towards Hallsville .
Farm to Market Road 301 (FM 301) is located in Hockley and Cochran counties. FM 301 begins at an intersection with Cochran County Road 227. The highway runs through a largely rural area of the county and intersects FM 1780 before entering Hockley County. The highway passes by many oil wells for the next 7 miles (11 km).
Farm to Market Road 1 (FM 1) is located in Sabine and San Augustine counties. Designated in 1941, it was the first farm-to-market road established in Texas, at the request of local industry for a paved road. The 18.6-mile (29.9 km) road provides access to rural areas of East Texas from US 96.
At 113.8 miles (183.1 km), FM 624 is one of the longest farm-to-market roads in the state of Texas. FM 624 was designated on July 9, 1945, to run from the Jim Wells/Nueces County Line west via Orange Grove to 6.5 miles (10.5 km) west of Orange Grove. On September 10, 1945, the road extended east to US 77 in Calallen.
