615. August 22, 2009. #1. Posted November 5, 2010. I'm interested in using the Fulton Street Parking Garage while on a cruise. We leave on 11/13/2010. I know that Fulton Street charges $10/day and has a shuttle. I also know that they have an online reservation site.
The Port of New Orleans offers two parking areas: The Erato Street Parking Garage for most vehicles (1,000 spaces) and the Poydras Street Lot for over-length vehicles (75 spaces). Cost for parking is $16 per day effective July 1 2009 based on the length of cruise. Over-length vehicles will pay $32 per day effective July 1 2009 .
The Fulton Place Parking Garage provides a very clean, safe, and secure parking garage and is attended 24 hours a day. 64 security cameras on property. Garage Clearance is 6 feet 7 inches. COMPLIMENTARY SHUTTLE SCHEDULE: 7AM to 3PM - every 5 to 10 minutes. 3PM to 7AM - no shuttle.
Fulton Place was much cheaper for parking than the hotel, and we didn't need the car - so we booked Fulton Place for 9 days at the cruise rate (does not include in and out privileges - that’s around $20 a day). Not sure about the parking situation at Fulton for Carnival ships these days, but to answer your question, yes, it is walking distance and I have walked it. A block to Julia Street and a block to the river from there. Depending on which terminal, could be a block or so further.

Mississippi. #1. Posted December 29, 2012. We will be parking at Fulton Garage for our December 2013 NCL cruise. I've found 3 different websites to book this particular garage. Fulton Garage directly $12/day. Airport Parking Inc. $8/day rooftop. United Airport Parking $8/day rooftop.
Does anyone know what the rate for Fulton Street Garage for 7 days cruise? We last cruised out of NO in Jan of 05 and it was $12 day. I read another post that said it was $16 day at the port. Can anyone verify this? Thanks,

Fulton has seasonally raised their prices to where you're almost paying as much as you would at the port. If you are looking to park offsite and save I'd do Machu Picchu which is $110 cash or $115 card. Port is $140. Fulton is normally $83 rooftop or $106 covered. The seasonal rate has fulton $122 rooftop or $132 covered.
