Sometimes, depends on how you do it. The whole “xx% of my viewers aren’t subscribed” is really annoying at this point, so if you do want your viewers to like and sub try to ask them in a different way. 2. The-Real-Metzli.
Now, I don’t know if it helped the subscribe rate but it definitely helped the drop rate - people watch the videos longer. Seems some dropped during the intro. And also, common sense says - if the person made it all the way to the end to hear the “like, comment, subscribe”, chances are they did actually like the video.

Personally I'm sick of "like share and subscribe". When the guys at work found out I had a YT channel the biggest comment I got was that I'd get punched if they hear "like share and subscribe". It was an eye opener for me, infact 20% of the guys said they flat will not sub to a chanel for that sentence and the same number didn't get the sub ...
Yeah I only like it when it’s at the end because it does help them a bit to get more people to see it, but I don’t like the youtubers who constantly throughout the video tell you to remember to like the video or have an animation that comes up that is the like button and a cursor clicking on it, most of the time when I get to the end of a video I like it as I wanted to finish it.

Fondle that subscribe button, scrape your mouse wheel down to the comment section to spread some words out into the down below part, and don't forget to jostle the upside-down dislike button! Reply reply
blame the system not the player. they’re basically forced to do that. it’s proven to have a massive effect on how many people subscribe and like the video, which in turn results in massively increased visibility and revenue. if youtube’s algorithm was fair, believe me that most youtubers do not want to beg you to subscribe and like the ...
No, If I want to like or subscribe I will do so. Telling me to do so likely will result in me not wanting to do either even if I had wanted to before you said it. Reply reply. [deleted] •. Hell no. I'd only do so if i like their content. infact if they say please like i never will. Reply reply. SimplyMrSM.
I’d like to clarify that any YouTuber begging for likes and subs isn’t worth their weight in likes, but im willing to support those creators that are more subtle or don’t ask at all. If you don’t support the arts they’ll just fade away guys.
