This wonderful area is under the jurisdiction of the Bexley Parks and Recreation Department. The building itself is magnificent and the surrounding ground are filled with hiking trails in the woods, fields for picnicing, playgrounds for the little ones, tennis and basketball courts.
Back in 1905, industrialist Robert H. Jeffrey and his wife Mary lived in this single family home known as the Jeffrey Mansion. The 32 acres was then donated to the city of Bexley in 1941.
