Just for kicks, I clicked on the "Join Slate Plus today" link, and promptly received a message that says: "Thank you for your membership! From all of us at Slate, thank you for being a Slate Plus subscriber." So somewhere in the system, it DOES recognize I'm a Slate Plus member...it's just not allowing me access to the member podcast page.
It is expensive and unfair but to be honest if I was an adcom, I would want it too. Virtual interactions this past year have felt so detached and inhuman - and I think that that would extend to interviews too. idk what the right choice is here, maybe a virtual interview option that isn't necessarily equal to an in-person one?
