Busey–Evans Residence Halls. Busey Hall was the first residence hall built by the university, with its cornerstone laid on Saturday, October 21, 1916. Evans Hall was added in 1924–26. Men were the first occupants of the hall, but Busey and Evans have traditionally been female-only. Evans started housing men in fall 2019.
