The Ivy Manor Inn is an inn in Bar Harbor, Maine. It was built as a home in 1936, for local physician Dr Weymouth, [1] and has been an inn since 1997. [1] Built in the Tudor style, the inn has eighteen rooms, including six cottages. The inn also includes the William Tell Lounge, a whiskey, wine and beer bar open to the public.
Around 1820, John Savage II (1801–1868), [4] son of John and Sarah Savage, 1798 settlers in Northeast Harbor, built a farmhouse on the site now occupied by the inn. Known as the Old House, [ 4 ] he lived there with his wife, Bath, Maine , native [ 5 ] Climena (1801–1884). [ 6 ]

E. V. Yeager owned a sporting goods business on nearby Route 88, and in 1949 moved it to U.S. Route 1 (US 1), [3] to open the following year as the Down-East Village Motel, with a Gulf gas station.
