Frederick Walter Stephen West (29 September 1941 – 1 January 1995) was an English serial killer, who committed at least twelve murders between 1967 and 1987 in Gloucestershire, the majority with his second wife, Rose West.

Janet Leach is an English social worker, known for the role she played as an appropriate adult in the questioning of Fred West, one of the two perpetrators of the Gloucester serial murders. For these murders, he and his wife Rose West, against whom Leach testified at trial, became notorious.
West was charged with 12 murders, but took his own life in a Birmingham prison before his trial. Rose West was convicted of 10 murders in November 1995 and is serving life. Show comments
