"Maps" is a song by American pop-rock band Maroon 5. The song was released on June 16, 2014, [1] [2] as the lead single from their fifth studio album V (2014). The song was written by Adam Levine, Ammar Malik, Benjamin Levin, Noel Zancanella and Ryan Tedder and produced by the latter three.
Released in September 2003, the song reached number nine on the US Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and number 26 in the United Kingdom. The band performed the song at the 2003 MTV Movie Awards, [7] and the music video received extensive play on MTV. The song experienced a resurgence of popularity when it went viral on YouTube and TikTok in 2024.
