Royal Welsh Agricultural Show Ground, Llanelwedd. The Royal Welsh Show (Welsh: Sioe Frenhinol Cymru) is an agricultural show, organised by the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society (originally, the Welsh National Agricultural Society, [1] formed 26 February 1904 by influential landowners, at Committee Room 12 at the House of Commons [2] [3]), and first held in 1904.
The list only includes stadiums and grounds that have been built and remain in use, with a capacity of at least 2,000 temporary seating included. The ground of successful Welsh club The New Saints is not included because it is in England, not Wales .
Llanelwedd is the site of the Royal Welsh Showground, which hosts a number of attractions during the year as well as the show. It hosted the National Eisteddfod in 1993. The village church is at the east end of the village, near the junction of the A481 and A483. Llanelwedd has one Primary School - Llanelwedd Church in Wales School. [5]
