The Navigo pass (French: Passe Navigo) is a family of contactless smart cards that can be used for payment in public transportation in Paris and the Île-de-France region.It was first introduced on 1 October 2001.
This ticket can also be loaded onto a Navigo Easy pass (which is not personalized). It is valid for all zones, except for the airports. Until 2025, a cheaper day pass was available for people under 26 years old on Saturdays and Sundays (Forfait Navigo Jeunes Week-end); this ticket was known as Ticket Jeunes (in paper form) until 2019.
As an alternative, a Navigo Easy card can hold a one-day Navigo Day pass costing €12, or multiple metro/train (€2.50) or bus (€2.00) tickets. Before 2025, Paris Visite was a paper ticket and provided small discounts at several tourist sites. It is not clear if or how this will be continued now that paper tickets are no longer issued.
