William Frederick Burr (born June 10, 1968) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and podcaster.He has released multiple stand-up comedy specials, including You People Are All the Same (2012), I'm Sorry You Feel That Way (2014), Walk Your Way Out (2017), and Paper Tiger (2019).
The central subjects of Paper Tiger are cancel culture, the Me Too movement, [1] [3] [4] people who spread misandry under the guise of feminism, Burr's anger issues and childhood, Elvis Presley's legacy of cultural appropriation, and Burr and his wife having to give up their beloved but "deranged" rescue pit bull when his wife became pregnant.
The series aired each Friday at midnight through October 21, 2005, showing a total of ten half-hour stand-up specials. Some of the comedians included are Louis C.K, Jim Norton, Patrice O'Neal, Bill Burr, Bonnie McFarlane, Kevin Brennan, Omid Djalili, Flight of the Conchords, and more. The 2005 version was directed by Linda Mendoza.
