I watched Melville's Le flic where Alain Delon and Catherine Daneuve played lovers last night. Two most beautiful actors of all times IMO. But no real spark, it looked like each ond was more in love with themselves than their partner.
My all time favourite 1980s mini series is I'll Take Manhattan, about the cut throat world of publishing and adultery starring Julianne Moore, seriously. Julianne plays the most beautiful film star in the world who ends up dating the incredibly hot Timothy Daly who is blind and therefore literally can't see how beautiful Julianne is!
I've liked Rachel Weisz a lot in her other movies but her Oscar-winning role in [italic] The Constant Gardener [/italic] left me very underwhelmed. I felt Amy Adams in [italic] Junebug [/italic] gave the best performance of all the nominees that year.
