Stillwater is a village in the northern end of Auckland in the North Island of New Zealand. [3] Situated on the Weiti River immediately south of the Whangaparaoa Peninsula in the Rodney District, it is part of the area known as the Hibiscus Coast. There is also a Stillwater, West Coast in the South Island.
The Stillwater Junction Railway Station opened on 14 November 1887. [10] The railway bridge (Bridge 103) was designed by Charles Napier Bell, one of New Zealand's notable colonial civil engineers, and built by the New Zealand Midland Railway Company. It spans Stillwater Creek, west of the station.
Cottonwood Community Center, east side. It was named Cottonwood because there was an abundance of cottonwood from which the center was constructed, using hand-cut wood.
