Ndilǫ / ˈ d iː l oʊ / is a First Nations community in the North Slave Region of the Northwest Territories, Canada. The small Dene community is on the edge of Yellowknife on the tip of Latham Island. It had a population of approximately 321 people in 2016. [2] Ndilǫ and Dettah are the communities of the Yellowknives.

The Yellowknife River is a river in the Northwest Territories, Canada. It flows south and empties into Yellowknife Bay just where it is crossed by the Ingraham Trail . It is part of Great Slave Lake , approximately 7.5 km (4.7 mi) north northeast of the city of Yellowknife .
It is the most populous of the five regions, with a population of almost 23,000.
