The Montgomery County Board of Education has approved the school year calendar for 2024-2025. The calendar is responsive to community input by offering limited instructional disruptions and highlighting the system’s continued investment in its employees with professional development learning days.
There will be five scheduled early release days for Traditional Calendar schools. They are: Sept. 27, 2024, Nov. 25-26, 2024 (designated for student conferences), Feb. 28, 2025, and June 13, 2025. Winter break begins on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024, and ends on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025.
