Can someone give me the macros for egg whites, I've been eating egg whites for breakfast for a while now and have looked a lot for the exact macros on them but can't find an exact answer anywhere I always find the macros for one cup of egg whites for something like that but I want to know what they are per egg... thanks in advance Edit: BTW for ...
Eg. quoting from USDA Nutrient Database 50g serving Egg, whole, raw, fresh P/C/F 6.28g/0.36g/4.76g Egg, whole, cooked, hard-boiled P/C/F 6.29g/0.56g/5.30g I don't see how fats suddenly increased? And the different egg packages I buy also indicate pretty different macros on the nutritional labels even when adjusted for weight, depending on brand.
What are the macros for a liquid egg white and a hard boiled egg (no yolk) or is it the same? If you mean the difference between Omega 3 eggs and non omega 3 eggs, there is no difference in them. If you are not even eating the yolks you should not even bother buying the more expensive Omega 3 eggs.
On my failed attempts, I beat the egg whites to super fluffy peaks. I had 3 egg whites at like 4x their volume, looking like a bowl of whip cream. Once I added the dry ingredient and the milk, the whole thing collapsed. As I stated, I've only been successful leaving the egg whites out.
Really won't matter. Eat what you enjoy the most. To actually answer the question, though, it's probably a toss up IF you're eating the yolks- the casein protein is more slowly digested if the egg protein is consumed by itself, but the fats in the egg would slow the digestion down a little, so it'd be prettyclose.
You are on the right track if you are already looking into macros. I was amazed at how much of the right stuff I could eat. Dieting doesn't have to mean starving! Apparently I can't post links yet. Go to the healthy living heavy lifting .com website and search macros. It will show you how to calculate macros for bulking and cutting. Good Luck!
buying egg whites is cheaper, I eat 10 egg whites a night so I go through a ton. If you go to a sams club, costco, or even natural food type stores you can often find them in bulk. I buy a bucket of 60 egg whites for $5.99 not to mention it would be a pain having like 7 dozen eggs in the fridge every week.
i would say your fats are too low. no way to actually know without you telling us ur stats. but eating 3500 cals and only 60g of fat seems absurd. check the stickies and calculate some better macros 08-29-2012, 02:34 PM #4
