Vine is a completely remote activity conducted in our homes. It's clearly the principle place of the business. We might do some testing outside of the home - e.g., in the back yard or in the car - but the principle place of business is in the home.
Vine is sort of a legal gray-area (and has been for years). In germany and most other European countries we didn't have to pay any tax until now and won't have to until 01.01.2024, when the changes go into effect. Vine was created to combat paid reviews on Amazon by giving sellers a legitimate way to earn reviews on new releases/listings. Originally, there were no taxes and no third-party seller items. Much of the info in Amazon's help pages for Vine is out of date as it has not been updated consistently as the program has changed.
