Aer Lingus ( / ˌɛər ˈlɪŋɡəs / air LING-gəs; an anglicisation of the Irish aerloingeas [ˌeːɾˠˈl̪ˠɪɲɟəsˠ], meaning "air fleet") [a] is the flag carrier of Ireland.
