Nov 17, 2022. #30. Darn Tough socks are the best. Their warranty response is prompt. They wear so well I felt a bit guilty when I sent a half dozen pairs in for warranty replacement. I have used them exclusively for the last seven years. They dry out quickly when wet.
I just recently decided to try some Darn Tough socks and got some Midweight Hiking Socks and I know I'm going to want something lighter sometimes in the summer. I'm stuck choosing between the Lightweight Hikers and either the Ultra-Lightweight or Lightweight Running Socks. I'm hoping maybe...
Yo! Peeps! They are Darn TOUGH socks. https://darntough.com Repeating what Just Bill pointed out: Darn Tough makes a zillion different socks. I own several pair in ankle and crew height. The only way I can tell them apart is on my kitchen scale. The AT logo model is heavier and cushier than the Micro Crew Light Cushion. My favorites.
Darn Tough Factory Sale 2023. The big Darn Tough Factory Sale is this weekend in Northfield VT both Saturday and Sunday. It was cancelled for a few years due to Covid. For those not familiar with the sale, they close the factory down and sell both new and seconds of their socks for a very steep markdown. No lifetime guarantees on the seconds ...

The darn tough spur boot light weight hiking socks is my current favorite for hot weather as they are long enough to just barely poke out the top and feel cooler than all the rest I’ve tried during the dog days of summer. I’m a size 10 but for some reason the DT socks fit better at the heel if I order mediums instead of large.
61,870. Location. East Texas. Dec 27, 2022. #6. I know they are expensive but I love my darn tough socks. They are merino wool, lifetime guaranteed, and they even tame my stinky foot odor, lol. My wife bought me my first pair many years ago and that is all I use now for any hard use. They are comfortable, warm, and I have to say I still have ...
I like my Darn Toughs, but a person could go the other way and get Costco "Dumb Wool/ Pretty Tough" socks at 4 pair for $12. They work and last rather well, and are cheap enough to replace every few weeks.
I’m irresponsible as I’ve just washed and dried them with my other clothing. I have a couple dozen pair from military socks I used before I retired to a variety of thicknesses from dress socks to backpacking. I do have some ultralight weight Smartwool socks for backpacking, but I used the heck...
Darn Tough socks certainly get a lot of great reviews here. They're running about $20 a pair, which is on the higher side of the price range, but many feel they're worth it, buy once cry once. But you can only afford what you can afford. For something more budget friendly, there's People Socks. Made in USA, 71% merino, a four pack for $35.
