Robert-Jan. · Sep 24, 2024 · #SpeedyTuesday. Last month, the Omega Speedmaster Flight Qualified pilot’s watch leaked on social media. Normally, we don’t respond to leaks or rumors, but the number of questions we received about this watch was (and still is) getting out of hand. At least for now, this new Omega Speedmaster pilot’s watch ...
YEET. It has been exactly 1 year since I bought my Speedmaster at the Omega boutique. Not going to regurgitate any technical information on here. This is for that guy or gal on the fence for a Speedmaster. Here's my straight to the point and realistic (casual) review of it. For me the Omega Speedmaster (3861) is the watch I could live with the ...
kov. · Aug 23, 2017. The Cal. 1620 Quartz movement. The cal. 1620, developed by Omega and SSIH (later to become SMH -see * below). Although it has only basic functions by today's standards, it is neverthless still a very accurate watch, capable of 0.15 seconds per day, or 5 seconds per month. This is better than a lot of quartz watches ...
gbesq. · Dec 5, 2023. An 861 can certainly be regulated to better timekeeping than +20 SPD. The 861, 1861 and 3861 are all good movements. The 3861, being relatively new, has had one known issue with some of the early production models that Omega has repaired under warranty for affected models.

The watch debuted in 2012 to commemorate the first Omega chronograph worn in space on the wrist of NASA astronaut Walter “Wally” Schirra during his Sigma 7 mission.
In the current Speedmaster Moonwatch professional, it carries the standard tachymeter. There is a 30-minute counter on the 3 o’clock position, 12-hour counter on the 6 o’clock and a constant seconds counter on the 9 o’clock position. The dial has the disctintive black and white contrast that is symbolic of the Omega Speedmaster models.

I recently bought a brand new Speedmaster and I remember the day I got it, it took me around 70 complete turns to wind it fully. But after that day, its gets completely wound in close to 30 turns. I wind it in the morning everyday somewhere between 7.30 and 8.30 and I turn the crown in the similar fashion everyday.
Robert-Jan. Here it is (finally), the hands-on Omega Speedmaster Caliber 321 review. Exactly six months after its release date (January 7th), I picked mine up at the new Omega Boutique in Biel. We recently touched upon this watch in our Sunday Morning Showdown section, where Jorg and Ben sent this Omega Speedmaster Calibre 321 in steel […]
Aludic. · Dec 28, 2021 · @SpeedyBirthYear. Hello @Doug G. Here's my two cents' worth. From the two pictures you've posted here, I am guessing we are looking at a perfectly correct '69 Speedmaster (145.022-69). Appears original, that said, the rule is that the more there is to see, the more there is to be observed.
