The North East Wales Football League represents the North East Wales area at the fourth and fifth tiers of the Welsh football league system. It was established in 2020 as a successor to the North East Wales League following a reorganisation of the Welsh football pyramid. The league has two divisions:

On 10 July 2020 the FAW confirmed the 64 teams in the new tier 3 leagues. [5] In an attempt to avoid dividing the current Mid-Wales teams across all four leagues, the North-East league contains a large contingent of the Mid-Wales teams.

Connah's Quay Town FC [2] is a Welsh football team based in Connah's Quay, Flintshire, Wales. The team currently plays in the Ardal NW League. The current team was formed in 2020. In 2024, the club was promoted to the Ardal Leagues, and moved to the Deeside Stadium. They also have Aidan Ragget who sits on the bench
Rhuddlan Town Football Club is a Welsh football club, playing in the North Wales Coast East Premier Division. The club was founded in October 1881 [ 1 ] and the team plays its home matches at Pengwern College, Rhuddlan .
