I'm hoping for a miraculous win and expecting a loss. If it was any other team than UCONN, I would be confident that we win, and that includes Creighton. I'm not willing to write this game off before tip-off and know well that we just may win it. There is nothing wrong with expressing what one believes to be a realistic take on our prospects.
Gonzaga waited until the PAC 12 lost all their good teams! The classic Pac-12 never wanted them, but the MWC did. This is a much better fit for GU geographically, especially with Wazzu and Boise State twice a year and no more sub 250 NET teams like Pacific, Portland, Pepperdine, etc.
Tbh I just think they are a tough match up(not that this doesnt apply to most teams they play) and on the road I just dont feel good. Obviously not a 100% loss. And we have yet to win there since they returned so kinda a believe it when I see it. Tough call on both whether both teams are better or not.
Re: Poll - For all the marbles, will Tyler play tonight? « Reply #2 on: March 22, 2024, 10:42:42 AM » If he plays at night, he might be lost getting to stadium, sad
Tough schedule and I don't have faith in them at all. Posh Alexander plays a bit out of control, can't shoot and tries to make too many fancy plays/passes. MU doesn't shoot 5 for 31 at home on threes, they win and tonight could have been a real blowout with some more made close shots and Bizjack having a career dream night kept it close.

This is an important game that will go a long way to locking us into a 2 seed or better. Absolutely no reason we shouldn't win - we're a better team, with better players and a better coach. If two of our big three show up I think we win walking away. But we have to come ready to play.
Hope for a 25+ point win to stay there. St John's at Providence: If the Johnnies can do to the Friars what they did to Villanova on the road, they could move from 46 to the top-40 & Q1A range. Texas A&M at Vanderbilt: The Aggies are 37, a close win or outright loss could drop them to 41, making Villanova away a Q1A win.
