The Black Knight is the alias of several fictional characters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.. The first is a medieval knight created by writer Stan Lee and artist Joe Maneely, who made his first appearance in Black Knight #1 (May 1955), during the Silver Age of Comics, when Marvel Comics was previously known as Atlas Comics.
