Kensington Park is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sarasota County, Florida, United States. The population was 3,697 at the 2020 census, [5] down from 3,901 at the 2010 census. It is part of the North Port–Bradenton–Sarasota, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area.
In March 1925, the County Commission hired Dwight James Baum as the architect for the courthouse. In September 1925, they awarded the construction contract to Stevenson and Cameron, Inc. of New York. On March 22, 1984, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Sarasota Multiple Resource Area (MRA). [1] [2]
