The Super Saiyan 4 Goku and the Golden Great Ape Baby begin to fight. In his new state, Baby is more powerful, but just like with Goku, lacks control of himself. In Hell, Xeno Goku & Xeno Vegeta, both at Super Saiyan 4, struggle against the reborn Janemba, who is aware of all of their abilities and tactics, which enables him to easily overwhelm them both. Just when Janemba is about to finish them off, Goku, Vegeta, Xeno Trunks and Xeno Pan arrive in Hell through a portal and join the fight.
The only unplayable character is Baby Vegeta in his Oozaru form, serving as the game's final boss. The unlockable characters consist of the adult Super Saiyan form of Goku in his GT outfit, the Super Saiyan forms of GT kid Goku and Trunks, Z series Super Saiyan Goku, Super Saiyan Future Trunks, Vegeto and the Super Saiyan 4 form of Goku.
As Goku powers up in rage after learning they had killed his allies Yamcha, Tenshinhan, Chaozu, and Piccolo right before his arrival, Vegeta senses an explosive increase in his power level through his scouter device. In response to Nappa's query about Goku's power level, Vegeta yells: "It's over nine thousand!", crushing his scouter in his fist.
The fight begins as Goku turns Super Saiyan and fights Android 19. Meanwhile, at Kame House, Maron appears wanting Krillin back. It looks like Goku has the situation handled, but he discovers 19's absorption technique after firing a Kamehameha.
Goku eventually bests Frieza in battle and gives him a chance to leave Earth, but is blasted in the chest by Sorbet's raygun when his guard is lowered. Frieza stands over the incapacitated Goku, and offers Vegeta a chance to kill him to become his second-in-command. Vegeta refuses, transforms into Super Saiyan Blue, and attacks Frieza.
Gotenks battles Buu multiple times but he is unable to defeat Buu even as a Super Saiyan 3. Buu temporarily absorbs Gotenks to increase his own power, but Vegeta and Goku are able to retrieve him from Buu. When Buu destroys the Earth, Goten and Trunks are killed.
