In 1927, the house was sold to Episcopal Diocese of Virginia for the St. Margaret's School in Tappahannock. It has been used as housing for students and staff. It has also been used as an infirmary. [4] The house was restored in 2004 and 2005. It is the Head of School residence and serves as the Alumnae House. [3] [4]
