Motijheel (Bengali: মতিঝিল, romanised: Motijhil) is an elevated metro station of the Dhaka Metro Rail's MRT Line 6. This station is located in the area of Dilkusha towards Motijheel . It commenced operations on 5 November 2023.
To the south, it passes through Gopibag Bazaar, Box Culvert Road, and Rail Crossing alongside the canal, ending at Atish Deepankar Road. Towards the east, it aligns with the western side of Atish Deepankar Road along the railway station's boundary, continuing through Khilgaon Railway Crossing to Box Culvert Road Crossing.
The line is entirely elevated and currently has 16 stations operational in service between Uttara North and Motijheel. [3] The line was built as a proposal of a mass rapid transit system in Dhaka by the Review Committee of the Strategic Transport Plan and the Urban Traffic Formulation Study.

Nawab's Dilkusha Garden, Dhaka (1904) by Fritz Kapp. Dilkusha is the commercial centre of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. [1] It is a part of the larger Motijheel area in the city. Historically, the Nawabs of Dhaka used to have a garden palace here in the 19th and early 20th century. Dilkusha was the name of that palace.
