The David Davis III & IV House is a site on the National Register of Historic Places located in the county seat of McLean County, Illinois, Bloomington.The home was added to the register in 1982 due to its affiliation with the descendants of 19th century U.S. Supreme Court justice and Bloomington native David Davis, namely Illinois state senator David Davis IV.
The Moraine View State Recreation Area is a state park operated by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) of the U.S. state of Illinois. The 1,687 acre (6.7 km 2) recreation area is located near Le Roy, Illinois. The predecessor of Moraine View, the McLean County Conservation Area, traces its history to 1959.

[1] Its county seat is Bloomington. [2] McLean County is included in the Bloomington–Normal, IL Metropolitan Statistical Area.
George was born in Berkshire County, Massachusetts, and had come to Springfield, Illinois, in 1850, where he became wealthy through manufacturing, mining, and railroads. [4] Bellflower Township had subscribed $30,000 in twenty-year bonds toward the construction of what was then called the Gilman, Clinton and Springfield Railroad .
