It is based upon the account of the presentation of Jesus in Luke 2:22–40.
The Laugharne Weekend is an annual literary and arts festival in Laugharne, Wales, held in the spring. Dylan Thomas described Laugharne as a timeless, mild, beguiling island of a town. [1] The festival is deliberately small-scale. The size of the town ensures that the festival will not grow beyond certain bounds.
Tafwyl is now split into two events: Tafwyl Fair, the main event at the weekend, and Tafwyl Week, a 7 day fringe festival the week before. [5] The main weekend event includes bars (selling amongst other things the specially brewed beer 'Cwrw Tafwyl') and street food outlets.
