I want to buy something, but don't want to buy it at best buy if they won't match the price. Don't want to go through process of buying something, THEN getting told I can't match. And apparently if you price match AFTER a purchase, the refund goes back to your payment method, which even if it's a giftcard, they'll put the money back on that.
i.e. if you buy something from them after October 29, and the price drops on Jan 15, as long as you go on Jan 15, you will be eligible for the Low Price Guarantee.
I booked and paid for a hotel room a week ago on Agoda. My booking is fully refundable. Then I notice the exact same category room price dropped by 10% on Agoda. I thought it would be easy asking Agoda to adjust my rate and refund the difference. Agoda wants screen shots price break down, proof that exact same room category same perk as my booking.

At time time of booking, the package was just under $1800 and now, the same package is just under $1700. When I booked, Sunwing was offering their "Price Drop Guarantee" protection for free, rather than the normal $50 or so per person, so I of course signed up for this plan. I was going to make a claim against the price drop guarantee today ...
They are dishonest and do not honor their own policy. If you are going to price match, make sure you call them immediately, because if you use email or other online options, they will wait and screw you out of their own price match policy. Images. The one is eligible for return until March 26th it is now $20 cheaper so I reordered it and since the original is still in the packaging and box it came in send it back with its order number to get a refund. The second item I bought is $25 cheaper it hasn’t been used either.
