The area was largely developed in the early 20th century on the site of Enfield Old Park. In addition to housing, Grange Park has a retail and commercial area around The Grangeway, which includes the railway station and a public house, the Gryphon. There are two schools: Grange Park Primary School and Grange Park Preparatory School.
The school system was also converted from a K-7 elementary and 8-12 high school grade system into a middle school 6–8 grade program beginning with the 1973/1974 school year. The curriculum was also updated to have studies more balanced, inclusive, and diverse, with content culturally and historically significant to racial minorities.
The Northampton village was created from agricultural land belonging to Courteenhall Grange Farm [1] in the late 1990s. Approval for the initial development of the Northampton estate was granted on 8 May 1998, initially for one thousand houses to be built along with amenities such as a primary school, a community centre, and country parks.
The Lower School has the form rooms for the rest of the school, nursery, the school hall, the KS1 library, the science and art facilities, the kitchen and the playgrounds. The school has had a historic past, with a very old Hall. [citation needed] Grange Park Preparatory School is now part of the inspired Learning Group of schools.
Delta Academies Trust (formerly Schools Partnership Trust Academies) is a multi-academy trust, operating 57 schools. [1] As an academy trust, it is an exempt charity regulated by the Department for Education.
