The Wisconsin Valley Conference is a high school athletic conference composed of the largest public schools in north central Wisconsin. Founded in 1921, it is one of Wisconsin's oldest athletic conferences, and all members belong to the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association .
The WVA holds a congress in different parts of the world every two years. It has an online library providing access to information on veterinary topics, research, reports and other WVA-related material. The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) is an American not-for-profit association founded in 1863 that represents more than 105,000 veterinarians. [ 1 ] The AVMA provides information resources, continuing education opportunities, publications, and discounts on personal and professional products, programs, and services.
In 2020, the school was again ranked first in the United States by U.S. News & World Report [1] and in 2022, ranked second in the world by QS World University Rankings. [2] The school is located in the southwest corner of the main campus of the University of California, Davis. The current dean of veterinary medicine is Dr. Mark Stetter.

The College of Veterinary Medicine offers the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree on campus. As of 2021, the current DVM enrollment includes 455 students. Fifty one students attend the college on campus for the graduate programs for their masters or Doctor of Philosophy degrees. 465 students are enrolled in the college's online masters program.
