Parker also signed-on FM translator station K279DA (also known as KSUN) atop world famous Bald Mountain in America’s first ski resort of Sun Valley, Idaho (est. 1936) and re-broadcasts KHLY, serving listeners throughout the Wood River and Magic Valleys in Southern Idaho on the frequency of 103.7 MHz.
In 2020, Parker also built 1400 AM KHLY in Hailey ID and 103.7 FM KSUN in Sun Valley — moving that station across state from Pocatello, Idaho (formerly KPTO). Chaparral sold KECH-FM and seven other stations to Rich Broadcasting for $3.7 million; the transaction was consummated on April 1, 2013.
