The Middleton Depot is a railway depot built by the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad (also known as The Milwaukee Road) in 1895 in Middleton, Wisconsin. In 1999 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. [1] In 1841 the first Europeans settled around what would become Middleton.
The house was owned by prominent businessman and local politician George O. Bergstrom. In addition, his son, George Edwin Bergstrom was raised in the house. The younger Bergstrom would become a noted architect who designed many famous buildings, arguably the most famous being The Pentagon.
