Delamain is a producer of cognac, based in Jarnac, France.Delamain is one of the oldest Cognac houses and has been continuously family run since its establishment in 1824 although its roots in the cognac trade go back even further, beginning shortly after the arrival in France of Irishman James Delamain in 1751.
The Hine House has stood at the banks of the quai de l’Orangerie on the banks of the river Charente in Jarnac, France since the 18th century.
