EMR operates commuter services from London St Pancras to Corby, as well as Intercity services from London St Pancras along the Midland Main Line to Nottingham and Sheffield with limited extensions to Lincoln.

The Doncaster–Lincoln line is a railway line in England.It runs from the East Coast Main Line at Doncaster south east to Lincoln.. Services on the line are provided by East Midlands Railway and Northern, [1] with a few continuing through Lincoln to the Peterborough–Lincoln line.
Local passenger services are operated by East Midlands Railway. There is a daily service between Nottingham and Matlock, via Derby. The frequency of the service is hourly, although on Sunday mornings the trains run every two hours increasing to hourly in the afternoon and evening. [2]
A new Corby station opened on 23 February 2009, initially served by one return train per day to London St Pancras, operated by East Midlands Trains. [29] A fuller service, with 13 daily return trains to London, started on 27 April 2009. [30] The line from Kettering to Corby has been electrified, as from 16 May 2021. [31]
A further reconfiguration of the Meridians took place in 2008, shortly after East Midlands Trains took over Midland Mainline's services, when six of the eight-carriage sets were reduced to seven carriages and the remaining set was reduced to five carriages, allowing all nine of the remaining four-carriage sets to be extended to five carriages. [21]
