Glencoe Road is a continuation of Oregon Route 219 and First Avenue in Hillsboro and runs north-south between Hillsboro and North Plains. [5] The neighborhood lies along McKay Creek in the eastern edge of North Plains on Old West Union Road where it meets Glencoe Road north of Highway 26.
The Glencoe school district has two schools. The district is managed by Superintendent Jay Reeves, who works under the direction of a five-person board. [3] Before becoming the superintendent of Glencoe Public Schools, Reeves was the assistant principal at the high school. The mascot of both the district and the high school is the Panther.
