Chris Traynor (born June 22, 1973) is an American musician, songwriter and producer, best known as the lead guitarist of the rock band Bush since 2001. Prior to Bush, he started in the post-hardcore scene with Fountainhead and Orange 9mm.

Gorman has played in numerous hardcore punk , post-hardcore , and alternative rock bands, including Reach Out, voice, Direct, Fountainhead, Orange 9mm , [ 1 ] [ 2 ] A Day for Honey, [ 3 ] Glassjaw , [ 4 ] [ 5 ] Head Automatica , [ 6 ] Freshkills, [ 7 ] and Beyond.
With Orange 9mm, McLam played the Warped Tour in 1995, 1996 and 1997 and toured with bands including The Deftones, The Misfits and Kid Rock. [3] After parting ways with Orange 9mm, McLam co-wrote the bonus track "Jungle in the Circus" for the 2008 Gavin Rossdale album, Wanderlust, [4] released on Interscope Records.
