Megumi Fushiguro (Japanese: 伏黒 恵, Hepburn: Fushiguro Megumi) is a fictional character of the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen created by Gege Akutami.He is a first-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High, an academy to become a Jujutsu Sorcerer and develop Cursed Techniques to fight against Cursed Spirits, beings manifested from Cursed Energy due to negative emotions flowing from humans.
Jujutsu Kaisen originates from the four chapter series Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, later retitled Jujutsu Kaisen 0.In retrospect, Akutami found the early design of Yuta Okkotsu too similar to that of fellow Jujutsu Sorcerer Megumi Fushiguro in the main series, thinking this they might confuse readers. This leads them to clash with Kenshin and his allies who want to stop Megumi's work involving opium. As the oniwabanshu are defeated by Kenshin and his friends, Kanryu betrays them and tries to kill them.
